Co-founded with Postdoctoral Associate, Laura Connoy, CASPR is a group of international scholars specializing in critical approaches to pain. As critical scholars in a space largely dominated by clinical research, we are often working in isolation from each other, even in light of increased emphases on the social inequities that shape pain experiences. CASPR was developed to help strengthen our contributions, offer a space for collaboration, and ultimately to work towards the establishment of a community of practice.
